I finished this today with a sense of accomplishment. It’s simplicity and movement allows it to have a presence. I want to go back and fix this other one. I can just tell what my mistakes were in the first attempt, mainly the yellow, the posutre is off, the focus is off, it is just off.…

I thought I could use another night scene in the series.

This light wood frame continues to inspire me to make things with a “Mac-ian” aesthetic. I painted over the disappointing mac tree. VV wallhanging find. I love these mini paintings. They are so cute and these bright ones are like cotton eye candy. I would love to have a bright pink studio and put these up with some flower pillows.

Value Village frame. I liked the Hot landscape in the night tree’s heart, I thought I would put the night flower into this. They kind of go together. I’m not entirely sure about the black lines in this one.

I loved this frame when I saw it at Value Village. It’s colors are pretty and fit in with my idea of pastel beauty, but I haven’t really explored the greens and thought it would be a good opportunity. I like the sunlight in this a lot. Dan questions the what I call “albino tree”…
