Kat’s Zine Club

Stay tuned to the insta where I post when it’s mailing day

Subscribe via Patreon to receive a zine in the mail every month!

Each month, I collect my daily poem-drawings, merging writing and visual art into a singular ritual. These drawings, which evolve over time, capture fleeting thoughts, emotions, and reflections, creating a visual diary of my journey. Once the month is complete, I mail the collected pieces to my artistic community, turning the act of sharing into a ritual of connection and exchange. This practice fosters a sense of unity and participation, allowing my community to engage with the evolving narratives of my work. By mailing my drawings, I extend the intimacy of my creative process, inviting others to become part of the ongoing conversation about transformation, creativity, and the shared human experience.

Titles include “New Questions”, “Bi-Intention”, “Mudra for the Sacrament”, “Simple Games”, and “Moving Architecture” are personal poetry zines that include simple illustrations. They are all the same format and processes. 32-page zines bound with embroidery thread made from pages that are developed roughly one a day that detail notes, ideas, phrases, metaphors from my reading, writing, and thinking. Fast drawing and writing techniques create a snapshot like a dream upon waking.
