An internship assignment: Recreate an antique mailbox decal.
This was a fun assignment. I had a flashback to first quarter where the assignment was to make a picture using shapes and the pathfinder tool. I pen-tooled a few things in this design, but I was surprised at how effective it was to make the shine on the bugle using an uneven stroke on an oval, expanding the appearance and then erasing the part I didn’t need.
